SUMMARY:Next Gen Jam w/ Dylan Acker Quartet
DESCRIPTION:On the 1st Sunday of every month\, bands of local youth\, often fielded from one or another of the many fine music programs in colleges and high schools in San Francisco and around the bay\, perform a set\, then host a student-centric jam session for their peers. \nThis month features the Dylan Acker Quartet. Trumpet player Dylan Acker\, a senior at Ruth Asawa School or the Arts\, brings a quartet this month to play a set and conduct a jam session. The quartet includes Asante Sims\, from Berkeley High\, on piano; Julian Deery\, from Nueva School\, on bass; and Amaru Duran\, from RASOTA\, on drums. All welcome\, particularly high school and college students. No charge. Donate what you can! \nSUNDAY HAPPY HOUR! Grab your partner! Gather your kids! Call a friend! Come on down to the bookshop to get a bit better acquainted with your neighbors and just have a ball before the start of another long hard work week!
