SUMMARY:Next Gen Jam hosted by Walter Arron Quartet
DESCRIPTION:The Walter Arron Quartet comprises: \nJairo Guerigay (Burlingame High School)\, alto saxophone; Ludovic “Tilu” Blain-Galvez (Berkeley High School)\, piano; Walter Arron (Nueva High School)\, bass & leader; Aaron Donohoe (Sequoia High School)\, drums \n\n\nFollowing their set\, the quartet will conduct a jam session specifically attuned to student jazz players\, though anyone may participate.A small honorarium is paid to the members of the quartet by the Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Project with support from Jazz in the Neighborhood — both 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations funded by individual donors. Tax-deductible donations to both organizations make their work possible. Audience contributions at the event help\, too\, and are very much appreciated. \nNo charge to attend or play. Stay for a tune\, stay for a set\, stay for the show. Donate what fits your pocketbook\, and know that we very much appreciate your support! It’s all part of our weekly Sunday Happy Hour programming.
