The Grant Levin Trio
featuring Denise Perrier
jazz in the bookshop
every Friday since October 2002
$20 suggested donation / pay what you can
Denise Perrier, the voice with a heart, sings with pianist Grant Levin’s fine trio, featuring veteran bassist Dean Reilly and the young drummer Genius (“G-Dub”) Wesley in a program that’s guaranteed to delight.
Jazz in the Neighborhood’s Guaranteed Fair Wage Fund will provide a subsidy for this date, allowing us to pay a “fair wage” of $150 per musician for this engagement, double our regular guarantee on a Friday evening!
The Guaranteed Fair Wage Fund is a project of Jazz in the Neighborhood, established with the aim of raising gigging musicians’ wage standards so they can afford to stay in this very expensive city and region. Your donations at the show and your tax-deductible contributions to the Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Project make it possible for us to keep up our end of the bargain!

It makes of us a race of intellectual cowards; it changes but little if any our daily conduct toward each other. But doubt sets us free."
-- Job Harriman, 1902
