The Potrero Hillbillies tricked out as their favorite band(s).  It’ll be a treat, rest assured!   $20 for the show. Just passing through? Ten will do. BYOB and share your candy. Reservations ill advised, but call us if you want — 415-586-3733

 

The Potrero Hillbillies are Bird & Beckett regulars
as a trio, as individual musicians (Joe Cunningham,
Christopher Gray, Joshua Raoul Brody), as rabid
book buyers, and as jazz aficionados. Their past
efforts have included tributes to Harry Nilsson, the
Kinks, the Band, the oeuvres of Merle “Please don’t
call me ‘Merle “Ian Shoales” Kessler’ Kessler” Kessler,
Joe Cunningham, They Might Be Giants, songs with
the name “Sue” in the title, and whatever the heck
they feel like playing. It is that last category from which
they will probably draw on Halloween. Ooh, scary!
