Next Gen Jam w/ Dylan Acker Quartet

On the 1st Sunday of every month, bands of local youth, often fielded from one or another of the many fine music programs in colleges and high schools in San Francisco and around the bay, perform a set, then host a student-centric jam session for their peers, with financial support from Jazz in the Neighborhood.

This month features the Dylan Acker Quartet. Trumpet player Dylan Acker, a senior at Ruth Asawa School or the Arts, brings a quartet this month to play a set and conduct a jam session. The quartet includes guitarist Dexter Dryg, a RASOTA graduate on his way to NYC; Julian Deery, from Nueva School, on bass; and Amaru Duran, also at RASOTA, on drums.

All welcome, particularly high school and college students. No charge. Donate what you can!
