Friday, March 7th – 6-8pm
The Brian Andres Trio

Jazz in its essence!
The piano trio is the traditional heart of the art form.
If you don’t grasp that yet, you surely will over the course of the evening!

Three musical minds, long experienced in developing their ideas, skills and technique, listening to each other, conversing in a common language without words on topics dear to their hearts…
ballads, blues and burners…
exuberance, lamentation, subtle thought, wistful desire, clever asides, moments of bombast, tenderness and joy…

All welcoming you into the extended moment amidst friends old and new..

On the stage,
Erick Peralta, piano
Aaron Germain, bass
Brian Andres, drums

$20 cover charge; cash or venmo at the door, please!

Kids free and welcome!

Leave the dog home and enjoy a bite and beer at One Waan, La Corneta, Win Garden or Tekka House  — spring roll, samosa, taco, egg roll, calimari, hand roll, gyoza… tell ’em you’ll return soon! Mean it!

Then, enjoy an early evening of jazz in the bookshop and duck back into any of those fine restaurants before their kitchens close for an exquisite dinner, they all do it well! Or claim a table at Gialina or Manzoni! The Italians know what they’re about for sure, and can provide fine wine to bring out the best in it. They’ll be happy to see you!

Lingered too late and missed the kitchen closings? There’s Glen Park Station for a beer or a martini and inspired conversation. With words! You really can’t lose.

See you this evening at Bird & Beckett for the jazz!

Just remember to bring a twenty for the band, and a hunger to be with friends new and old, for an hour or two of camaraderie and culture!
