But nothing beats being in the room with the music & the musicians!

Saturday, June 21st – 8:30pm
The Jinx Jones Trio

Music is a universal language, and guitarist Jinx Jones is one of its great polyglots. His rockabilly guitar genius is widely acclaimed and well-ingrained in the West Coast & North Beach San Francisco consciousness, but it’s his abiding affection for jazz that we at Bird & Beckett love most.

Audiences far and wide can now find him in either mode these days, with his jazz trio and jazz duo popping up in his regional touring schedule with ever increasing regularity. Check his website at jinxjones.com to find him at a venue near you.

With Ken Owen on drums and Kenan O’Brien on bass, Jinx offers gorgeous and spunky glosses on the work of jazz masters including Kenny Burrell, Grant Green, Wes Montgomery, Charlie Christian, Barney Kessell, Freddie Green, you name ’em.

He’s soaked up the jazz canon. And channeling it through his nimble fingers, he’s offered it up time and again to Bird & Beckett audiences since launching his jazz trio here back in the summer of 2017… or the spring of 2014, if you count the Jazz-A-Billy All-Stars!

Come into the shop this Saturday, the first full day of summer 2025, and enjoy an evening of jazz.

$20 cover charge, cash please; BYOB
