Beth and Will are veterans of storied bands dating back to the anarchic 1980s and the acid jazz ’90s including the Club Foot Orchestra, Trance Mission, Clarinet Thing, Eighty Mile Beach, the Hieroglyphics Ensemble, TJ Kirk and many more bands that were happening in a big way throughout their decades of youth and maturity. They’ve never stopped. They’ve worked together in various contexts since the beginning and “SKY,” the new album, is a beautiful progression.
