Eric Shifrin is devoting every second Friday to the music of the songwriters behind the jazz standards, and this week Cole Porter is the focus of two sets of great music played with a couple of his congenial and talented pals — bassist Simon Planting and drummer Mark Rosengarden. BYOB and a twenty for the band, and relax for a couple of hours at Bird & Beckett with live music to ease into the weekend.
