The Jazz Philanthropists Union presents…

Tonight: Frank Jackson, piano and vocals; Noel Jewkes, tenor sax; Al Obidinski, bass; Vince Lateano, drums.

Frank Jackson played the Fillmore District clubs when they were in their heyday in the 1940s and 1950s, and has been a favorite of San Francisco jazz audiences ever since for his rich piano style and vocals reminiscent of Nat King Cole.

$15 cover charge.

Our events are put on under the umbrella of the nonprofit Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Project (the "BBCLP"). That's how we fund our ambitious schedule of 300 or so concerts and literary events every year.
