Rob Reich, piano;
Ben Goldberg, clarinet;
Andrew Stephens, trumpet;
Ollie Dudek, bass;
Eric Garland, drums.
Rooted in the classic swing music of the late 1930s, Swings Left plays tunes of Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington, Count Basie and Artie Shaw, as well as many of Rob’s original tunes in this style, combining hot rhythms with a cool sensibility.
Our events are put on under the umbrella of the nonprofit Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Project (the "BBCLP"). That's how we fund our ambitious schedule of 300 or so concerts and literary events every year.
