Klaxon Mutant Allstars, jazz of the future
The Klaxon Mutant Allstars are no less than a fellowship of jazz musicians whose music lives between the worlds of jazz, electronica, indie rock, and hip-hop. Drawing from their impressive collective resumes, their recent album, Robot Invasion, weaves finely wrought compositions with compelling moments of improvisation, layered with an ear for today’s electronics. Our events are put on under the umbrella of the nonprofit Bird & Beckett Cultural Legacy Project (the "BBCLP"). That's how we fund our ambitious schedule of 300 or so concerts and literary events every year.
