Walker Brents III, our resident philosopher & spiritual advisor, builds on thoughts begun in his October talk on Walt Whitman’s Democratic Vistas. Tonight’s talk is entitled “Democratic Creativity: From Whitman to You.” Inspiration in challenging times has been a constant and perennial theme.  What forms has literature taken as communities, societies and individuals evolve amidst constant change?  We are strangers in a strange land, bearing familiar gifts that are yet to be uncovered.
